Siamo stati a Villa Giara in occasione del mio compleanno, a inizio luglio, e non potevo chiedere di più. Un posto stupendo, studiato nei minimi dettagli, un luogo in cui potersi rilassare completamente e godersi la natura, e infine un’accoglienza fantastica: Hugo, Ricardo e Stephen sanno come farti sentire a casa. Non vediamo l’ora di tornarci!

I had a milestone birthday in summer 2023 and I wanted to do something special with close friends and family.|When I discovered Villa Giara on line, I knew that this gorgeous Villa (actually two large houses) was the perfect place to celebrate. I’d never been to the Piedmont area of Italy and it turned out to be even more dramatically beautiful than the photos I’d seen. So 17 of us took over the two houses for 5 days and had a heavenly time. The house and each of the 10 bedrooms, all with private bathrooms,were distinctively and tastefully decorated. Ditto the many common areas. It was hot when we were there and the air conditioning and gorgeous pool overlooking hills and vineyards made the heat bearable. We hung around and relaxed at the Villa, visited nearby towns, toured the fascinating wine cathedrals, ate at lively restaurants, most outdoors with beautiful views. We went truffle hunting and took a really fun cooking class. What made an extraordinary holiday by any measure even more special was the graciousness, advice about the area and warm hospitality of Stephen Croncota, the owner and those who helped out at the Villa. Stephen was a remarkable host and I can’t thank him enough for sharing his magical Villa with me and my entourage. We will always cherish our time in Piedmont and at this beautifully conceived hilltop getaway.

If you have the opportunity to visit Italy I can highly recommend for you to stay at Villa Giara in Piemonte. This has to be the finest B&B I’ve ever been to, I love it so much that I hate sharing this gem but that would be selfish and I wouldn’t want anyone to miss out on this very special experience. Situated in the heart of Italian wine country you’ll have the best of all worlds…. A gorgeous fully renovated Italian Farm House with every modern amenity you could ask for, views of picture perfect landscapes from either the stunning new swimming pool deck or the exceptionally comfortable canopied common area. Start your morning with a gourmet breakfast in the country dining room, sit and plan your day in one of the many beautiful private nooks. The inn consists of 2 buildings 10 bed rooms total. Each bedroom is uniquely decorated with its own luxurious bathroom ,the bed is so comfortable getting up might be difficult!||||Come rain or shine this boutique inn is so comfortable you won’t want to leave it ,but all of the fascinating entertainments available beyond it’s doors will call to you and off you’ll go. Stephen; one of your hosts, will help coordinate one of many activities available to you. We took a wine tour that was like no tour I’d ever experienced before, a cooking class was set up for us given by the owner/chef of a lovely restaurant …it was an experience I shall never forget. We had tickets to tour an ancient wine cellar then reservation’s for an elegant but relaxing lunch… what an incredible day! I can go on but I think you get the gist of what’s available here.||||If you’re looking for a well located aesthetically pleasing Bed&Breakfast outside of the Milan area then this is your place. Relax, explore, re-charge your soul ….Villa Giara is the perfect spot to do all of the above. ||||Thank you to our hosts Stephen and Ricardo, you set out to have a unique magical destination … your work is done. Nestled in the Piemonte hills overlooking the vineyards, Villa Giara enjoys some of the most breathtaking views in the area. How lucky we were to be able to stay here last minute because of a sudden change of plans on our honeymoon… Villa Giara is as perfect as the pictures portray! The place is immaculately kept, with incredibly tastefully decorated rooms and well equipped. The view from the house and the beautifully designed pool are to die for. Stephen, Ricardo and Hugo were all so welcoming and friendly. This is just one of those rare places where you feel at home when away. We will definitely be back!

Fabulous villa right in the fantastic wine regions of Piedmont. |This was a perfect base for our wine tour and truffle hunting trip. |The villa was absolutely beautiful and wonderful decor with every amenity you could possibly want. |We were a group of 5 couples and staying in both villas was just perfect. |Lovely breakfast served by Hugo and wonderful host Steven was on hand to greet us and ensure everything was on hand for our visit. |We even managed a dip in the pool (in October)|Would highly recommend a visit to enjoy this amazing area of Italy.

Had 5 fantastic days at Villa Giara. Relaxed and calm atmosphere in the most beautiful surroundings with a perfect view over the vineyard hills around Calosso! The rooms are clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. The Villa Giara team are friendly and helpful. We will be back for sure!

Uns hat der Aufenthalt in der Villa Giara sehr gut gefallen. Etwas untypisch wurden wir auf Englisch begrüsst, und haben dann verstanden, dass diese B&B von einem Amerikaner geführt wird. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich, wir wurden ins Zimmer gebracht und uns wurde alles erklärt. ||Es ist sehr familiär, sehr ruhig (es waren nur Paare dort) sehr schön. Alles mit Stil ausgestattet, die Zimmer gross und schön. Die Snacks vor Ort hübsch hergerichtet. Sie haben für uns Abendessenreservierungen vorgenommen und es war sehr sehr familiär und nett. ||Was uns weniger gefallen hat:||Das Frühstück ist doch recht mager. Es fehlt an "lokalen Produkten" , z.B. Frische Briosches, frisches italienisches Brot, Auswahl an Käse und Fleischwaren, Auswahl an Kuchen. Die Kaffeemaschine ist leider auch nicht italienisch und der Kaffee ist echt nicht gut. (da würde ich eine Barista empfehlen oder dann auf Kapseln gehen, Borbone oder so) ||Ebenfalls mussten wir die Handtücher und Tücher zum Baden die gesamten 4 Tage behalten - im Sommer hat es schon ein bisschen gerochen, und wenigstens alle 2 Tage hätte man diese wechseln sollen. ||Auch lagen immer mal wieder vom vorabend Gläser oder Teller rum - die lagen dann die ganze Nacht draussen, bis morgens gegen 11 die Reinigungsfee kam und alles aufräumte. So kleine Feinheiten wo man sicher mit wenigen Handgriffen ein super B&B schaffen kann. Wir kommen def. wieder, weil es uns sehr gut gefallen hat und es sehr herzlich war.
