Appartamento con vista sul lago di Como. Pulito e fornito di tutte le comodità, perfetto per 2 persone. Parcheggio privato ( molto comodo data la scarsità di parcheggi..) in 15 minuti a piedi, con strada un po' scoscesa,si raggiunge il lungo lago.

Posizione incantevole proprio sopra Cernobbio con una bellissima vista sul lago. Appartamento confortevole pulito e con tutto il necessario. Peccato che la televisione sia molto limitata nella scelta dei canali, sicuramente da sostituire per migliorare il comfort degli ospiti.

Excellent location and gorgeous views of Lake Como and the city of Cernobbio, you can walk to the center of Cernobbio in 15 minutes by leaving the apartment and walking along Via Plinio. The apartment has everything you need, is clean and pleasant to be in. There is free parking.

Important note: when you have booked and paid for the apartment, you will be sent an email link to online registration where you must fill in all the details of the guests, upload documents and sign a rental agreement for the period that you have booked. This is what a Check-In looks like and you do everything yourself. After all, the owners are sent a link to pay the city tax in the amount of 3 euros per person per day. Check-in at 15 o'clock, check-out at 10 a.m.

OUR EXPERIENCE: which we regard as negative!

We booked an apartment called La Finestra Sul Lago through Booking. We were sent instructions on how to get into the apartment, after we reminded the staff who is engaged in renting out these apartments. We arrived at the address, and in the pouring rain we tried to open the lock with a key inside to open the gate and get into the apartment. In the pouring rain, we tried to open the lock code to the name of the apartment we had booked, but the code did not fit and we had to call the office to find out the situation! It turned out that the instructions said that we had to open another lock with a key because we received not the apartments that we had booked, but others with a different name! When we talked to the staff on the phone, of course they told us to read the instructions carefully and laughed at us! Okay, we opened the gate, drove inside and it turned out that the place where we should park is occupied! Tin! All this in the pouring rain! We parked nearby, but we called the staff again, who said that we could not park in neighboring places and had to go outside this parking lot, out the gate and park somewhere! How do you like that?
Then an hour later someone from the staff arrived and found out that our parking space, which was attributed to our apartment, was occupied by cleaners and they just left their car and went somewhere! We are grateful that an employee came and solved the parking problem!

The next problem happened at night! It rained all day and there was a heavy downpour at night, we woke up from the fact that water was flowing into the room and it turned out that the wooden windows had slits through which water was pouring into the kitchen and the whole kitchen was in water, the floor was flooded! We were literally drowned! There was water everywhere! We began to put buckets under the windows and wipe off the water that was just pouring out from under the window! It was terrible! We collected water for about an hour and changed the buckets from under the garbage so that the whole room would not be flooded! If we hadn't woken up and stopped the flow of water, the whole room would have been flooded! AS A RESULT: the location is excellent, the view is beautiful, BUT there are such problems in use!
