Villa Costantino é una gemma in un punto magico della costa calabrese. La freschezza della brezza e le correnti dello stretto di Messina, rendono fresche e piacevoli le estati piu calde. A pochi metri dal mare e dieci minuti in auto da Scilla, Catona é al centro delle piu grandi bellezze della Calabria.

La casa é amplia, con varíe Camere, tutte dotate di bagno. Aria condizionata, internet, televisione e tutte le comodita.

La piscina, i giardini, e la cucina all’aria aperta assicurano di godere al massimo delle giornate in compagnia della famigli o amici.

Natty é un meraviglioso anfitrione, una guida naturale alle bellezze di quest’angolo prezioso della Magna Grecia.

Siamo stati ospiti di questa incantevole villa questo Agosto. La struttura oltre che ad essere meravigliosa è immersa in un giardino ricco di piante dove il nostro cane ha potuto sbizzarrirsi, correre e giocare senza mai tenere il guinzaglio in perfetta sicurezza, poiché la struttura è completamente recintata. Natty, il proprietario, molto premuroso, gentile, amante degli animali, molto disponibile e attento. Ho potuto leggere molto durante questa vacanza perché ci sono molti angoli nella villa che permettevano privacy e raccoglimento. La vacanza ideale per me. Il mio posto preferito era la veranda, da lì potevo vedere il fuori senza soffrire il caldo o il fresco la sera. Ma c'è un particolare che mi poterò nel cuore e tra i miei ricordi, una meravigliosa palma, quella della piscina, con fatica riuscivo a staccare gli occhi di lì.

We booked the place through their own website. On reservation we were asked to pay holding deposit of 300Euros via bank transfer. Which we did. On arrival we were asked to pay the rest of the fee. Natty insisted on payment in cash for the ease of transaction " especially for the security deposit of 200Euros" so it could be returned to us in cash the moment we leave the property. This was agreed in writing in email. However the moment money changed hands, Natty declared that it was impossible for him to inspect the property on our departure as he needs time to check everything properly and that will take him 24hrs. And once everything is in order, he will do the bank transfer.

We didn't like this sudden change of plan and insisted Natty honoured the initial agreement. He finally agreed in voice message that his worker will attend the house for inspection and return the money in cash.

The worker appeared, but never had the money with him and Natty was trying to convince us that we broke one of his deck chairs. There was a crack on one of the bars.

Apparently two chairs were cracked but one was there already and the other one one was new and caused by us.

To give you a bit of a background: the house is full of cracks , cobwebs and old unwanted items. It has great potential and beautiful garden but we had to clean all the chairs before we could use them. The deck chairs probably spent whole summer/ or several summers in the tense calabrian sun therefore were prone to cracks...

The garden is beautiful but not clean you can walk into old plasters that fell of someone's feet, hair bands and pieces of rubbish..

The moka provided is for one person, while the house apparently can host 8 / on some websites 10 and when you talk to Natty he sometimes says that it is best for 5.

The kitchen does not look even close to what it looks like in half of the picture you will find on different rental websites. It is full of useless chabby items that serve no purpose.

We were accused about lack of trust as we insisted on sticking to the initial agreement....and I think that is what really spoils your holiday.

The charge for the crack on the deck chair we had to clean to be able to use was 50Euros...Nice way of making business...

!!!!!!We lost our trust as the owner was changing the arrangement several time.

The gate didn't close for good 60 mins on our 1st day that's why we got worried!

We never contacted you through Airbnb but through Vrbo website. And you never had any reservations about us booking directly- We all know that the money you receive through any website is heavily taxed and you need to give away a cut to a middleman:(
The WiFi wasn't working between Saturday and Monday 3 days out of 6 of our stay.. documented by several messages as well as phonecalls.

Last and not least, you ordered me to take down my review as biased and false and threatened with legal proceedings.
